5 Destinations for 5 Days for $5K or less

As a luxury travel company we are frequently asked about the pricing of our high-end and exclusive services. This is a difficult question to answer because our trip costs vary widely depending on the client, their choice of destination and their travel style. The main thing we would like to convey to travelers is that unlike most companies in our market segment we strive to make luxurious experiences more obtainable for our travelers. TRAVEL AT WILL is all about empowering travelers to travel whenever they can and as they desire. We custom design each of our itineraries with the intent of exceeding your expectations while providing the best value in the luxury market. Our fully built itineraries include a concierge level of travel design services, private transportation and private guided tours, in addition to booking flights and premium accommodations. A lot of people probably assume that a trip of this caliber is out of their price range. In Italy or France the costs of this type of experience may indeed be out of the question, but there are a number of places in the world where you can obtain the Royal Treatment on a budget.

This list features some examples of 5 destinations where we can book you a 5 day getaway for 1-2 people (including all of our premium services) for $5,000 or less. Destinations are not ranked or listed in any particular order.

Egypt (Cairo & Luxor)

When you arrive in Egypt you are welcomed by the mighty Nile River and its assortment of magnificent monuments. As you explore the countries long lasting legacy, you'll be enchanted by landscapes mixture of beguiling desert and lush deltas. On every corner you will likely be welcomed by its loving people. With sand-covered tombs, austere pyramids and towering Pharaonic temples, Egypt awakens the explorer spirit lurking within everyone.

Visit the Valley of the Kings in Luxor, where Tutankhamun’s tomb was unearthed, and see the glittering finds in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Hop on and off a Nile River Cruise to visit Dendara, Edfu or one of the other waterside temples, then cross Lake Nasser to see Ramses II’s masterpiece at Abu Simbel, or venture out into the desert to see the remnants of abandoned Roman trading outposts.

Cambodia (Siem Reap & Phnom Penh)

Cambodia seems to cast a spell on everyone who visits its dazzling rice paddies, swaying countryside or magical coastline. The ancient and modern worlds collide cohesively to create a unique and authentic travel experience. Contemporary Cambodia is the successor state to the mighty Khmer empire that formerly ruled much of what is now Laos, Thailand and Vietnam. The remains of this empire can be seen at the fabled temples of Angkor, monuments unrivaled in scale and grandeur anywhere else in Southeast Asia. Modern Cambodia grandeur is rising to compete with its iconic past. Phnom Penh has a chaotic charm to it.

This revitalized city is booming with cultural renaissance and world-class wining-and-dining options. Second city Siem Reap, is also developing into a popular destination with its cosmopolitan cafes and increasingly diverse nightlife.

Romania (Bucharest & Brasov)

Romania's landscape of rolling green hills and staggering rocky mountains is dotted with villages built around rugged stone churches, dazzling monasteries and the occasional majestic castle. Transylvanian towns seem like they stepped out of time long ago, meanwhile in the vibrant capital city, Bucharest, life is fast paced and full of energy. In Brasov and other towns visit jaw-dropping castles pitched precariously on harsh hilltops.

From the spooky Bran Castle that spurned Bram Stoker’s fictional account of the region's history to luxurious beauties like Corvin Castle or Peleş Castle, there are several castles to explore.

Honduras (Tegucigalpa & San Pedro Sula)

If you've never thought about visiting Honduras, now is the time to start! This Central American jewel is positioned between the Caribbean Sea to the North and the Pacific Ocean to the south. Loaded with white sand beaches fringed by the world's second-largest barrier reef and lush jungle-covered mountains carved by raging white-water rivers.

Honduras is home to an astounding number of exotic bird species, exquisite Mayan ruins, cobblestone colonial villages and some incredible fresh seafood that you can enjoyed grilled right on the beach…Yes, all this is found in Honduras, a country often hurried through or completely avoided due to its unflattering past image.

Indonesia (Bali, Lombok & Raja Ampat)

If you've been following us for a while, then you already know how much we love Indonesia! And we have a lot of great reasons. Indonesia is jam packed with more beautiful islands than any other country in the world. Venturing across Indonesia you’ll see a wonderfully dramatic landscape as diverse as anywhere on the planet. Sulawesi's wildly multi-limbed coastline embraces white-sand beaches and diving haunts, while Sumatra is contoured by a legion of nearly 100 volcanoes marching off into the distance, several capable of erupting at any time.

Bali's beaches are the stuff of legend, but you don't have to travel far to find even more beautiful and less tvisited stretches of sand in Nusa Tenggara. The Banda islands in Maluku, Derawan in Kalimantan and Pulau Weh off Sumatra all offer superb beaches too. We would have been remiss not to mention Bali but we strongly encourage travelers to check out Lombok, Raja Ampat and some of the other islands.
